About Us

Allen Plant Hire is a small family run business, hiring a vast range of equipment to all sectors of industry and the general public. Established in 1980, we having been serving the local area and wider afield for over 30 years, and have gained knowledge and experience in this ever changing environment. We cater for all types of customers, from D.I.Y enthusiast, to experienced builders, and from factories to farms.

We carry a large range of machinery, all kept to a high standard, which can also be delivered, by one of our delivery vehicles throughout the province, promptly when requested. Not only do we hire, we also sell, service and transport machines of any customer. On our premises we have a showroom selling various types of power tools gardening equipment etc., along with consumables and safety equipment. In our workshops we have experienced mechanics to service or repair and machines you may have, and we also can transport any machinery that our customers need moved, by our transport fleet.
